Umerov on negotiations in Florida: The meeting with the USA was productive and successful

Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Rustem Umerov announced support from the USA during negotiations in Florida on November 30. He described the meeting as productive and successful.

Umerov, together with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, briefly spoke to the media. The broadcast was conducted by "Suspilne".

Umerov began his comment by once again expressing gratitude to the United States for their efforts to end the war. "For working with us, for laying the foundation for a future prosperous Ukraine," the head of the delegation clarified.

"We are talking about the future of Ukraine, discussing important matters, things that will be significant for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. The United States strongly supports us in this. The meeting in Geneva was successful, and today this is being further developed," the official said.

After the speech, he and Rubio shook hands, patted each other on the back, and left. Representatives from Kyiv and Washington did not respond to journalists’ questions.
