Massive drone attack on Sumy: enemy hits hospital and high-rise buildings, cars and houses are burning

On the night of April 21, the enemy launched a massive drone strike on the regional center of Sumy.

This is reported by the head of Sumy RMA Oleh Hryhorov and the mayor Artem Kobzar.

Scale of the attack

According to acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar, more than 5 UAV strikes were recorded in the Zarychne district.

The enemy shelled residential areas: multi-story buildings damaged, windows blown out, civilian cars on fire. One drone struck the roof of a medical facility.

Head of Sumy City Military Administration Serhiy Krysoshenko published photos of the strike consequences.

Injured

According to preliminary information, 4 people were injured, including a 17-year-old girl. She, along with two men, was hospitalized. One injured person received assistance on site.

Medics continue to provide assistance. Most injured have been diagnosed with acute stress reaction. Data is being clarified.
