While Ukrainian law enforcement is investigating the case of Dmitriy Punin due to suspicions of planning an assassination attempt on a journalist who covered Russian corruption ties in Ukraine, on Cyprus they are essentially arranging a public PR campaign for him.

At Chateau Punin, with the participation of officials, ministry representatives, and partners, they solemnly presented a new winemaking project and the planting of Pinot Noir vineyards, calling it «a new era of Cypriot winemaking».

It seems that part of the Cypriot establishment either does not notice the toxicity of this story or deliberately turns a blind eye. But practice shows: sooner or later, all such connections and agreements become public.
