A 270 billion hole: Svyrydenko announced a shortage of funds for the AFU and raising military salaries

Currently, the shortage of funds for financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounts to UAH 150 billion, and an additional UAH 120 billion will be needed for the salary increase for military personnel promised by the authorities (in total — UAH 270 billion). At the same time, these funds were not included in the budget amendments adopted yesterday, which provide for an increase in army spending.

This was reported by Prime Minister Svyrydenko at a meeting with MPs, according to MP Zheleznyak.
