We are isolating Crimea in the near future, — commander of the USF "Madyar"
Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces Robert «Madyar» Brovdi stated that as a result of systematic strikes on the so-called «Novorossiya» route along the Sea of Azov, the occupiers were forced to reduce traffic on it by more than two-thirds over the past month.
Brovdi said this in a comment to Reuters.
«Madyar» noted that within a month Ukraine will establish full control over this route, and in the near future «we will isolate Crimea».
Brovdi compared strikes on equipment on an open section of the road to «hunting partridges in an open field». According to him, one of the strategic goals is to force Moscow to withdraw its troops rather than advance.
«We will create conditions under which it will be extremely difficult for military personnel and defence industry workers to remain in Crimea and the temporarily occupied territories, as well as to use routes to them», he said.
At the same time, «Madyar» emphasized that Ukraine does not and will not strike directly at the civilian population or civilian objects.
