Trump: The US will consider Ukraine’s request for a license to produce American missiles

The US will "consider the issue" of granting Kyiv a license to produce American missiles on Ukrainian territory.

Donald Trump stated this, adding that Ukraine had approached the United States with such a request.

"They would like to do it, we will consider this issue, they asked about it," he said.

Trump also did not dare to blame Russian President Vladimir Putin for the war against Ukraine. The US President was asked whether he believes that the Russian dictator bears great responsibility for the war against Ukraine.

"I don’t want to comment on this because I’m trying to achieve a settlement of the conflict. It doesn’t make the task easier," he said.

Trump noted that the US is considering the issue of imposing new sanctions against Russia, but the decision will depend on the dynamics of world oil prices.

According to him, the US administration is closely monitoring how quickly the cost of oil is decreasing.

"We are considering this. We are monitoring how strongly the price of oil is falling. It is indeed dropping sharply. Now, as far as I understand, it is 74–75 dollars. That is, it is falling. Soon it will be at the level it was four months ago. This is quite strange. And in addition to this, we will have Iran without nuclear weapons, and I can say that the Prime Minister also strongly supports this," he said.
