Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Odesa region: there is a dead woman and a wounded person

On July 14, Russian occupation forces carried out another attack on the civilian population of Odesa region. The enemy launched a missile strike on a residential area in Odesa district, which resulted in human casualties and significant destruction.

This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Telegram.

Human losses

Unfortunately, the enemy attack claimed the life of a civilian resident. A 69-year-old woman was killed at the site of the strike. Another resident — a 44-year-old man — sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized for medical care.

Scale of destruction

The strike targeted a private residential area with no military facilities. The recorded consequences include:

• Complete destruction: two private houses were completely destroyed by the missile impact.

• Partial damage: three other private homes within the blast radius suffered damage to roofs, facades, fences, and broken windows.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office has already opened proceedings for a war crime. Investigative teams, rescuers, and emergency services are working at the scene, documenting the consequences of the shelling for further investigation under the article on violations of the laws and customs of war.
