Attacks on civilian transport in Kherson have become a separate direction of enemy terror — CMA
The occupying Russian troops are attempting to completely paralyze life in the frontline city with attacks on public transport in Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko.
According to the official, the Russians are deliberately striking facilities that support the daily life of Kherson residents. The invaders are actively using FPV drones for attacks on buses.
"Attacks on civilian transport have become a separate line of enemy terror against Kherson. The enemy is deliberately trying to hit exactly those facilities on which people’s daily lives depend. It is trying to make it so that transport cannot operate normally, so that people have no opportunity to get to work, to hospitals, or to handle their everyday matters," Shanko emphasized.
He also added that Russian drones are effectively loitering near municipal enterprises to detect vehicles leaving for routes.
"There are cases when buses cannot even leave the depot for their routes because enemy drones are already waiting for them at the exit and trying to strike them," he said.
Shanko stressed that the goal of these terrorist strikes is absolutely clear to the city leadership.
“The enemy wants to paralyze the life of the city, create additional fear and pressure on people, and force them to abandon their normal lives,” he concluded.
