The SBGS of Ukraine stated that there is no strike group in Belarus, but the RF continues to put pressure on Minsk

On the territory of Belarus, there is no recorded buildup of strike groups of troops towards the Ukrainian border yet. At the same time, Russia continues to pressure Minsk, trying to more actively involve it in the war against Ukraine.

This was stated by the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko during the telethon.

«Our units and the General Staff also note that there is no buildup of any strike group towards our border on the territory of Belarus. But, again, pressure from Russia on Belarus remains, so that it joins the war against our country more actively», – said Demchenko.

According to him, the Ukrainian-Belarusian border is now much better fortified than in 2022. This involves strengthening engineering arrangements, fortifications, and mine-explosive barriers in the most threatening directions.

«Belarus should understand and see what we are doing, that we do not pose a threat to Belarus, but if suddenly Belarus decides to join the war with its own forces, it should understand what it will be dealing with», – emphasized the SBGS spokesman.
