The Defence Forces struck the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga complex in Leningrad region, Russian Federation, - General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Defence Forces of Ukraine struck the NOVATEK-Ust-Luga complex in Slobodka, Leningrad Region of Russia, on the night of August 14.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A fire was recorded at the site. Preliminary reports indicate that two processing units were hit.

"NOVATEK-Ust-Luga" – a production and transshipment complex designed for the fractionation and processing of stable gas condensate. Capacity – almost 8 million tons of raw materials per year.

The complex’s products are used in the military-economic activities of the Russian Federation and are involved in meeting the needs of the Russian armed forces," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recalled.

Currently, the extent of the damage inflicted and the results of the strike are being clarified. Work on key enemy targets continues, they added.
