Kropyva and Ivakhnenko were detained in Lviv in different places: the official’s business trip was not confirmed

Yelyzaveta Ivakhnenko was detained at the railway station in Lviv. Serhiy Kropyva was also detained in Lviv, but in a different location.

Kropyva’s defense stated that the official was in Lviv on a business trip. However, during the detention, no documents confirming the business trip were found on him.

According to the prosecution, after the start of NABU investigative actions, Kropyva and Ivakhnenko deliberately went to different places so that they would not be detained together. As a result, both were detained in Lviv, but in different parts of the city.

Ivakhnenko herself stated during the HACC hearing that she came to Lviv for only one day, en route to Odesa. According to her, she left Kyiv last Thursday because she had to fill out journals as a graduate student.
