The TRC has no right to conduct mobilization measures on the street during an air raid alert, — Ministry of Defence

During an air raid alert, TRC employees do not have the right to conduct mobilization on the street.

This is stated in the response of the Ministry of Defence to the request of People’s Deputy Honcharenko.

«Legislation does not provide for the authority of military personnel from the notification groups of the TRC and SP to stop, hold, or detain citizens in public places or prevent their movement to shelters during the «Air Raid» signal,— the MoD response states.

At the same time, as noted in the response, the legislation lacks a separate provision that would oblige military commissars to immediately cease mobilization measures inside shelters.
