The HACC removed the electronic bracelet from Yermak due to a threat to life and health
The High Anti-Corruption Court has not extended the obligation for former Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak to wear an electronic monitoring device.
This is stated in the court’s message.
It is noted that the HACC made the relevant decision, in particular, taking into account the conclusions of an independent medical specialist.
“According to the explanations of an independent medical specialist, further wearing of the electronic monitoring device may pose a threat to the life and health of the person. This circumstance became one of the grounds on which the HACC refused to extend this procedural obligation,” the message says.
Earlier, the HACC also allowed Yermak to leave the Kyiv region.
Thus, the court canceled for the former head of the OP precisely the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet, while other procedural obligations determined by the court may remain in force.
