In Kryvyi Rih, the head of a raider gang was taken to a pre-trial detention center

It was decided in the court in Kryvyi Rih to place under arrest 8 people whom the investigation considers to be members of a criminal organization that seized the industrial enterprise PMTO "Agro-komplekt" by raider means.

This was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The matter primarily concerns accusations from law enforcement against the president of the National Federation of Mixed Martial Arts, a long-time partner and the right hand of the authoritative head of the Regional Judo Federation, Mykhailo Koshlyak — 49-year-old Serhiy Samoylenko, nicknamed «Som», and former deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk City Council, lawyer Andriy Biryuk.

The group was detained on suspicions of creating an organized crime group (Article 255, Part 1 of the Criminal Code), whose members fraudulently (Article 190, Part 4 of the Criminal Code) took over the corporate rights and property complex of the enterprise and later attempted to launder the finances obtained in this way (Article 209, Part 3 of the Criminal Code). According to the final version of law enforcement officers, a total of 8 suspects were detained in the affair, during which allegedly on the basis of forged documents, the members of the organized crime group introduced a close relative into the company’s founders, which allowed them to acquire illegally the corporate rights of the LLC and eventually re-register the property rights of the real estate object to the desired person. It is believed that as a result of these actions, the victims suffered losses amounting to about 16 million hryvnias.
