The Russians launched a ridiculous fake about Valeriy Zaluzhnyi’s “mysterious sign”

Russian propagandists spread a fake story about the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi. Like, in one photo he allegedly shows with his hands the symbol of the Russian occupiers - the letter “Z”.

The lie was debunked by the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security on Telegram .

"General Zaluzhnyi gave a mysterious sign after his resignation." This is an enemy photo montage

False: a few days after the promulgation of President Zelenskyy’s decree on Zaluzhnyi’s resignation, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent an encrypted signal “to action.” The photo is being distributed by pro-Kremlin channels on Telegram.

Truth: to create a fake, the Kremlin’s propaganda photoshopped the original photo from the social networks of the President of Ukraine dated February 8, which showed a handshake between Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi.

The spread of the propaganda-edited photo is a ridiculous attempt by Moscow to slander the general, the report said.
