The AFU effectively "cancelled out" the Russian "Buk-M1" SAM

Ukrainian military personnel continue to effectively destroy enemy equipment on the battlefield. In one direction of the front, Special Operations Forces soldiers turned a Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system into scrap metal.

An enemy air defense system was discovered in a forest belt. The Ukrainian Armed Forces Special Operations Forces reported this on their Telegram channel.

The Russian anti-aircraft missile system was destroyed thanks to the integrated work of units of the Special Operations Forces and fire crews as part of reconnaissance and strike groups.

The enemy’s equipment was discovered in a forest belt thanks to aerial reconnaissance. After this, the enemy position was hit by fire. As a result of the impact, the air defense system detonated and turned into a pile of scrap metal.

“The effective combination of SOF reconnaissance capabilities and modern weapons continues to deliver crushing blows to the enemy,” the statement said.
