As part of the Czech initiative, Germany will pay for 180 thousand shells for Ukraine


German Federal Minister of Defence Borys Pistorius announced that Berlin will spend 180,000 rounds as part of the Czech initiative for the supply of artillery ammunition.

"The delivery will take place gradually, in stages, and will start in the summer," Pistorius said on the sidelines of the "Ramstein" meeting.

"In addition, we, as Germany, have contracted another 100,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition at the national level. Deliveries to Ukraine are also planned for this year," he said.
