The most difficult situation with electricity remains in the Kharkiv region - Ukrenergo

The most difficult situation with energy supply remains in the Kharkiv region. Consumers in Kharkiv and the Khmelnytskyi region are still disconnected, and shutdown schedules are in effect in the Odesa region.

This was reported by NEC "Ukrenergo" .

“The most difficult situation remains in the Kharkiv region. Specialists from Ukrenergo and oblenergo are working on a phased restoration of power to consumers using a backup scheme,” the statement says.

In the Khmelnitskyi region there are still disconnections of consumers, repair work continues.

In the Odesa region, hourly shutdown schedules have been applied.

“This is a necessary measure. Its reasons are network restrictions caused by damage to Ukrenergo substations and increased consumption. The surviving sections of the network simply cannot transmit the entire volume of electricity that is necessary to cover the growing needs of consumers,” the energy company noted.

Ukrenergo noted that more information about outage schedules is available on the official pages of local regional energy companies.

Within 24 hours, power supplies to consumers were restored in full in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
