Polish farmers have eased the blockade of trucks at the Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska checkpoint on the Ukrainian border. On the evening of 5 April, the movement of empty trucks from Ukraine to Poland was partially restored.
This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBS). “According to information from Polish colleagues, farmers restricting traffic during the protest will allow 15 empty trucks to enter Poland every day,” the message says.
Border guards asked carriers to take this information into account. The State National Security Service also urged to follow messages from the Ukrtransbezopasnost about the order of arrival at the Hrebennee – Rava-Ruska checkpoint.
Polish farmers continue to block the Ukrainian border at the Rava-Ruska, Yahodyn and Uhryniv checkpoints. Queues also remain in previously unblocked directions, especially at the entrances to the Krakivets and Shehyni checkpoints.
Currently, the blockage only affects freight transport. Passenger cars and passenger buses cross the border between Ukraine and Poland without interference.
Let us remind you that Polish farmers plan to extend the blockade of the Ukrainian border at least until April 30. Before this, the strikers promised to end the protests in early March, but extended the blocking period.
