Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that in recent weeks Russia has destroyed 80% of Ukraine’s thermal power plants.
He said this in an interview with ERR.
This is more than six gigawatts of capacity of the Ukrainian energy grid.
“This includes hydroelectric power and coal power. They continue to fire missiles at our energy facilities, destroying transformers and generators,” the prime minister said.
