ISW: Russian troops have advanced northwest of Bakhmut


According to ISW, the Russians advanced into southwestern Bohdanivka. The occupiers also claim to have advanced in the fields west of Bohdanivka, on the eastern outskirts of Hryhorivka, in the forests east and southeast of Chasiv Yar, and west of Ivanivske, although these claims remain unconfirmed.

The main objective of Russian troops is to cross the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal, which runs through eastern Chasiv Yar.

Positional fighting continued in the area of Spirne, Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka, Fedorivka, Rozdoliyivka, Vesele, in the area of Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske, Klishcheivka and Andriivka.

Russian troops also recently made confirmed advances near Kreminna, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Donetsk.
