An air raid alert was announced in Kyiv on the morning of April 17. A number of regions of Ukraine were also warned about the threat.

This was reported by the media, with reference to the air raid map and the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram.

In Kyiv, the air raid alert was announced at 8:48. Sirens also howled in the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.

A few minutes later, an air raid alert was announced in the Cherkasy and Poltava regions.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in its Telegram channel warned of a missile threat to the areas where the alarm was declared.

The air force reported that the missile was moving in the direction of Chernihiv.
