Mobilisation in Ukraine: what documents men need to bring to the TRC

From the moment the law comes into force, citizens liable for military service have 60 days to report to territorial centers and update their credentials.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law on Strengthening Mobilization. According to it, all those liable for military service need to update their data in the TRC and SS within 60 days from the date the law comes into force. Varta1 writes about this.

It is noted that citizens who intend to visit the TRC must bring with them originals and copies of the following documents:

Ukrainian passport; identification code; military registration document; medical documents; driver’s license (if available); education information; documents on family composition, presence of children or care for persons with disabilities (if any); documents confirming the right to deferment (if available).

It is also known that if a person liable for military service refuses to appear at the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC and SS) within ten days, the police will first look for him, and then he will appear in court. At the same time, he must be registered with the military, from which only those who are unfit, dead or for other reasons are excluded.

In particular, the Ministry of Defence explained how the right to drive a vehicle will be limited for evaders. We are talking about a six-step algorithm. So, if a person liable for military service ignores a registered letter with a document called a “demand to fulfill duties,” the TRC goes to court and the court may decide to restrict the right to drive a car.
