The consequences of a missile attack were shown in Odesa: the number of victims increased


In Odesa, as a result of enemy rocket attacks carried out by Russian invaders on the evening of May 1, civilian infrastructure in the city was destroyed. The mayor’s office showed a video about the consequences of the strike.

This was reported by the Odesa city mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov and the head of the Odesa regional military administration Oleh Kiper .

“Another Russian ballistic attack on Odessa. Civilian infrastructure has been destroyed, rescuers are fighting a large-scale fire,” the mayor said in a statement.

As the RmA said, in Odesa the number of victims due to the missile attack has increased to 14 people. Before this, 13 victims were known.

So, says the head of the administration, one man was hospitalized in a moderate condition in the hospital.

“Everyone else received assistance on the spot. Law enforcement officers are recording another crime by Russians against the civilian population,” Kiper said.

Due to Russian shelling in the city, civilian infrastructure was damaged, including post office warehouses, which were transferred to the RMA.

"The firefighting efforts are ongoing. There are broken windows in the surrounding houses," Kiper added.

“Our structures are inspecting nearby residential buildings for broken windows and doors,” Trukhanov said.

The State Emergency Service of the Odesa region later also showed footage of the consequences of an enemy missile attack in Odesa.

The rescuers added that 68 fighters were involved from the State Emergency Service, including psychologists, and 19 pieces of equipment were also involved.
