18 people cut the border fence and fled to Hungary, abandoning a minibus.
As journalist Vitaliy Hlahola reported, the event took place on the territory of the Luzhanka border service department in Transcarpathia. Today, while monitoring the border, a border service UAV operator noticed a minibus on a field road not far from the demarcation line.
Border guards arrived at the scene to check and found an empty and open white Volkswagen.
During a survey of the area, traces were found leading to the border with Hungary. They also found a hole in the barrier fence and footprints on the control strip.
Preliminarily, through operational means, it was possible to establish that 18 people from bus crossed the border illegally.
