The lifestyle of the possible chosen one clearly does not correspond not only to her income, but also to the official income of Verbytskyi himself.
Yachts, salons, designer clothes and a luxurious estate near Kyiv - these are the words that can briefly describe the life of the chosen one of the already well-known Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Verbytskyi, Ms Khrystyna Ilnytska. However, all of this wealth looks questionable, especially because it does not match not only her income, but also Verbytskyi’s official income.
In a new series of investigations for StopCor, journalist Olha Levytska uncovered some interesting facts from Ilnytska’s biography and found out how she can afford such a luxurious life.
As part of the investigation, the film crew showed that Ms Ilnytska does indeed live a rich life - from her mansion to her trips to luxury beauty salons and yacht trips. But a fair question arises: where does the money come from? Of course, she could have earned it herself, but where? What does Khrystyna Ilnytska do?
According to open data, back in 2017, Khrystyna updated her profile on a casting website, where she described herself as a professional dancer, aspiring singer, as well as a professional actress and model. But in 2020, the Royal River Yacht Club appeared, where Ilnytska was named as the founder.
However, Ilnytska registered her own sole proprietorship only about a week ago, and there are no other companies she would have owned on the YouControl analytics platform. According to the information provided to StopCor by the tax service, her total official earnings since 2015 have amounted to only UAH 364,000.
The website where you can view a list of services and vessels for purchase and rent is also down. Instead, there is a YouTube channel, but almost every video here is about Ilnytska having a good time on yachts or at themed parties.
"The owners of the vessels Ilnytska posts are no less interesting," the journalist notes.
Take, for example, the Bavaria 37 Sport yacht with a total capacity of 620 horsepower. It has been owned by 33-year-old Alexander Barkov since October 2021. However, according to our information, apart from this expensive yacht, the young man has no real estate or even a car, and he allegedly serves in the Armed Forces. Moreover, the yacht previously belonged to the son of the Party of Regions member Landik.
"We tried unsuccessfully to contact him to make sure he could really afford such expensive purchases. After all, Oleksandr may be a front man for continuing to manage the property in Ukraine of the fugitive regions. Because the previous owner of the yacht is Andriy Landik, the son of the odious Party of Regions MP Valentyn Landik. The yacht used to be called Nelly, in honour of Valentyn Landik’s wife, Nelly Volodymyrivna. Since the Revolution of Dignity, the Landiks have been hiding in Moscow," the media reported.
This raises the question: what could possibly connect Ilnytska with these yacht owners?
It can be assumed that her business has taken off with the possible start of a relationship with a government official. This includes a brand-new Porsche and a house in the same Konik, which has a market value of more than a million euros and which, according to our information, Ilnytska transferred to her mother under a gift agreement.
In addition to real estate and the yacht club, Ilnytska also enjoys regular trips to the prestigious Tsarskyi gym, yachting during the war, and various beauty treatments in Kyiv’s elite salons. As the media found out, the cost of check-up procedures in these establishments starts from UAH 1400 - 4000.
"Spending on entertainment is no less important. In May, Khrystyna and her friends attended a concert by Verka Serdyuchka. They sang along and danced from the VIP area. Depending on the number of people, the price for such a pleasure varies from 20 to 40 thousand hryvnias per table," she added.
Thus, all the designer clothes, regular visits to beauty salons, yachts and a new mansion are hardly equivalent to the official earnings of both Ilnytska and prosecutor Verbytskyi. And all this at a time when some people spend millions to support the army - they drop everything and go to defend the country, while others spend tens of thousands of dollars on branded items and millions on luxury real estate and foreign cars.
That is why the lifestyle of the possible candidate for Deputy Prosecutor General, as well as his or her assets, should be checked by the relevant agencies.
