On Thursday, 4 July, the Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, General Wieslaw Kukula, arrived in Kyiv. He held talks with the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
This was reported on the social network of the X General Staff of Poland and on the Telegram of the Ukrainian military leader. The working visit began with laying flowers at the Wall of Memory of Fallen Ukrainian Defenders.
“This is another important meeting between the two commanders, demonstrating solidarity and cooperation between Poland and our eastern neighbor in the face of Russian aggression,” the Polish General Staff noted.
Syrsky emphasized that Poland has been a reliable partner of Ukraine from the very beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
“We appreciate the military-technical assistance and diplomatic support of Poland. We are also grateful for the assistance in training our units, which have already defended the state,” emphasized the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
