Today, July 7, Odesa was visited by Dutch ministers, namely the Minister of Defence Caspar Veldkamp and Foreign Affairs Ruben Brekelmans, as well as the new British Defence Minister John Healey.
This is reported with reference to the presidential statement .
The President said that he informed the ministers about the situation on the battlefield. He also stated that during the meeting they heard a report from the commander of the Navy, Oleksiy Neyizhpapa.
“We will continue to strengthen the Ukrainian fleet together with Britain, together with the Netherlands - there are good new details of our cooperation,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
He also said that he and the ministers discussed strengthening Ukrainian air defence.
“This is our absolute priority, and I am grateful for the readiness to take the next steps – in particular on the F-16,” the head of state said.
