Russia’s losses in the war in Ukraine during the day from July 8 to July 9 amounted to 1,220 occupiers. In total, since the start of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor has lost about 553,410 soldiers. In addition, during the day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 19 armored combat vehicles and 49 artillery systems.

personnel - 553,410 (+1220) people liquidated; tanks – 8178 (+7) units; armored combat vehicles – 15,704 (+19) units; artillery systems - 15,015 (+49) units; MLRS – 1115 units; air defence systems - 880 units; aircraft - 361 units; helicopters – 326 units; Operational-tactical level UAV – 11,922 (+29) units; cruise missiles – 2389 (+36) units; ships/boats – 28 units; submarines – 1 unit; automotive equipment and tank trucks – 20,212 (+62) units; special equipment – 2516 (+13) units.
