In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers are trying to “push through” the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defence line, which is why the situation there is extremely complicated.
This was stated by the deputy commander of the 2nd air assault battalion of the 95th separate air assault brigade of Polisya, Serhiy Poemchuk.
He clarified that Toretsk is a strategic settlement for the invaders, opening the way for them to Kostantynivka, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk: “First of all, to Slavyansk, because since 2022 they have had the task of taking this city at any cost.”
When attacking, the Russians use everything they can, from manpower to heavy armored vehicles, CABs, FABs, and artillery.
