He noted that a corresponding video is being circulated online. In the footage you can see two Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered. They laid down their weapons and did not resist. The Russians cynically shot them.

“The terrorist country Russia continues to demonstrate complete disregard for the law and basic human morality,” Kostin said.

The Prosecutor General noted that criminal proceedings have been initiated on this fact for violation of the laws and customs of war, coupled with premeditated murder. According to the investigation, the crime was committed in June 2024 near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhya region.

“We know that this is not an accident. This is a deliberate policy of the criminal Kremlin regime to destroy everything Ukrainian. We will find and punish all those involved: both those who gave this criminal order and the direct perpetrators of this cruel crime,” Kostin wrote.
