National Guard defeat Russian tank convoy in Kharkiv region

A brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine repelled an enemy assault in the areas of Pylne-Lyptsi and Pylne-Hlyboke in Kharkiv region, destroying and damaging five Russian tanks and neutralising almost fifty invaders.

The National Guard reported this on Telegram, publishing a corresponding video.

As noted, at 06:00 on Tuesday, August 13, Russian troops attempted to storm the positions of the 13th brigade of the NGU "Charter" in the specified directions.

The invaders attacked in two columns of six tanks, covered in massive protection against FPV drones.

Each enemy tank carried a landing party of eight to ten infantrymen. The first column of six tanks moved toward the National Guard positions.

The Russian military failed to reach the front line of defense: the Charter fighters inflicted powerful fire damage on them with all available means, stopped and destroyed the column.

"As a result of confident and decisive actions by the Charter servicemen, four tanks from the enemy column were destroyed, and another tank was damaged. 10 occupiers were destroyed, and another 30 were wounded," the National Guard reported.

It is noted that some of the enemy tanks were destroyed by National Guard FPV operators.

The second column of six Russian tanks headed towards Hluboke, where it was met by units of the 92nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
