The Ministry of Defence reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will begin using firefighting robots.
The agency has approved the first ground-based robotic fire extinguishing system for operation.
It will be controlled by an operator at a distance of up to 2 km in open terrain and up to 400 m in rough terrain.
It is reported that such a robot is needed, for example, in areas where there are unexploded ordnance, when approaching burning equipment in which there is a risk of ammunition detonation.
