Occupiers launched a missile attack on energy facilities in Sumy region at night


On the night of August 20, Russian troops launched a missile attack on energy facilities in the Sumy region - almost 20 thousand people were left without electricity.

This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Sumy RMA.

"On the night of August 20, the enemy launched a missile attack on energy facilities in the Hlukhiv community. As a result of the attack, 72 settlements and more than 18.5 thousand subscribers were left without power," the information says.

Emergency recovery operations are currently ongoing.

It has already been possible to restore power supply to some critical infrastructure facilities in the community and residential sector.
