Verkhovna Rada supported the bill on the forced seizure of land and real estate


Deputies supported the bill with 228 votes.

Today, August 21, the Verkhovna Rada voted for bill No. 9549 "Draft Law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Simplifying the Procedure for Allocating Land Plots for the Development of Digital Infrastructure." The decision was supported by 228 deputies.

This was reported by the people’s deputy from the "Voice" faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

Among other changes provided for by the bill, the features of the forced alienation of land plots and other real estate on the grounds of public necessity under martial law for the placement of defense industry facilities and infrastructure facilities in the Uzhhorod district of the Zakarpattia region are defined.

As noted by People’s Deputy Igor Fris, this bill is a direct violation of three articles of the Constitution. "A direct violation of Article 13 of the Constitution. A direct violation of Article 95 of the Constitution. A direct violation of Article 55 of the Constitution. I am not talking about a complete disregard for the right of ownership, as defined by the Civil Code. “I am preparing a resolution to cancel it,” the deputy noted.
