Ukraine does not plan to use restrictions on electricity consumption on August 22. At the same time, energy companies insistently ask Ukrainians to save electricity to avoid outages.
This was announced by Ukrenergo . The company called for careful use of electricity during peak hours in the evening – from 16:00 to 22:00.
"Tomorrow, August 22, no shutdowns are expected. If the situation changes, additional information regarding restrictive measures will be provided. Please use electricity sparingly. Do not turn on powerful electrical appliances simultaneously from 16:00 to 22:00," the statement said.
The fact is that the situation in the power grid remains tense. Consumption has been growing in recent days due to the heat. Therefore, if the current deficit increases, the shutdowns may return.
