The Air Force reported that 24 Shahed-131/136 attack drones were shot down over Ukraine on the night of August 31, 25 of which crashed on their own. Two drones headed towards Russia, and another one – towards the Republic of Belarus.

It is known that the enemy launched an attack with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh region, four S-300 guided anti-aircraft missiles from occupied Donetsk region and 52 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Air defense was in effect in the Kyiv, Poltava, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Sumy regions.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy’s air attack.
