Oleksandr Usyk was released in Poland after being detained at Krakow airport on Tuesday evening.
After his release, Usyk recorded a video message in which he personally thanked the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy:
«Friends, good evening to everyone. I am free. There were some misunderstandings, and I want to thank the Ukrainian delegation and the ambassador of Ukraine in Poland. I personally want to thank our President, who was very concerned and personally dealt with this issue. Volodymyr Oleksandrovych, thank you. Glory to God for everything and Glory to Ukraine. I am free, no need to crown me», – said Usyk.
