In the Government, they predicted how long it will be possible to avoid scheduled power outages

Officials predict that until the end of October, and possibly until early November, there will be no problems with power supply.

The government maintains an optimistic attitude despite the risks of shelling, shortages of generation, and potential breakdowns of repaired equipment.

According to the optimistic scenario, which is currently being considered by the government as the main one, it will be possible to get through this winter without power outages, just like last winter. Outages may only occur during severe frosts - more than 10 degrees. This was reported by one of the high-ranking members of the Cabinet on the condition of anonymity.

The following arguments were given in support of such a forecast: a high level of protection for energy facilities, the commissioning of additional sources of generation, and an increase in imports. However, at present, positive forecasts have not received specific confirmations outside government offices, neither among experts nor among energy market participants, according to the material.
