Occupiers struck Kharkiv region: house damaged, man injured


In the morning on Thursday, September 26, the Russian army shelled the village of Ivashky in the Zolochiv community of the Bohodukhiv district in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the attack, a 47-year-old man was injured and hospitalized.

According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the occupiers struck around 07:30 AM. The agency also published photos of the aftermath.

Residential houses and other civilian infrastructure were hit by the shelling.

Specifically, a two-story apartment building, farm structures, vehicles, and premises of a farming enterprise were damaged.

"A 47-year-old man was injured. He was taken to a hospital for medical assistance," noted the regional prosecutor’s office.

Under the procedural guidance of the Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Law enforcement officials noted that prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document Russia’s war crimes.
