"Energoatom" dismissed a top manager who was caught taking a bribe


The company "Energoatom" has decided to dismiss the director of control and audit work, Oleksandr Skopych, whom the SSU had earlier detained on suspicion of bribery.

This was reported by the press service of the energy company.

"Due to the public outcry and his violation of the company’s anti-corruption requirements, on September 30, 2024, by the order of the acting chairman of the board of JSC "NAEK Energoatom," Petro Kotyn, this official was dismissed from his position," the statement said.

At the same time, "Energoatom" states that the suspicion against Skopych "is in no way related to his activities at JSC "NAEK Energoatom."
