Head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" Lyashchenko submitted a resignation letter

The head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" Yevhen Lyashchenko is stepping down. He has submitted a resignation letter.

This was reported on the website of "Ukrzaliznytsia".

"The Supervisory Board of JSC ’Ukrzaliznytsia’ has received a letter from Yevhen Lyashchenko regarding the early termination of his powers as the head of the board. The Supervisory Board plans to consider the letter in the coming days and make all necessary decisions in accordance with the current procedures," the statement noted.

It should be noted that Lyashchenko became the head of "Ukrzaliznytsia" in March 2023, and this term was supposed to last for two years until March 2025. He took this position instead of Oleksandr Kamyshin, who then headed the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.

Before being appointed as the head of UZ, Lyashchenko was a board member of the company in charge of the financial sector.
