Before being passed in its entirety, the bill on tax increases underwent significant changes.
According to MP Zheleznyak, amendment No. 988, which constituted half of the bill, was removed.
«It seems to me that we will have to vote on the bill again to get it in order», - notes the deputy.
MP Honcharenko points out that in the adopted version, the increase in the military levy from 1.5% to 5% is planned for everyone except military personnel.
Let’s also recall what the draft of the bill looked like before the removal of amendment No. 988:
- Increase in military levy from 1.5% to 5%;- Introduction of military levy for private entrepreneurs (PEs);- 50% tax on banks;- Increase of the MPT (minimum tax obligation) for land; - 25% income tax for financial companies;- Exemption of cashback from taxation;- Transition to monthly reporting for personal income tax (PIT);- Increase in rent for gravel extraction.
The main legal department of the Rada stated that in this version the bill does not comply with the Constitution.
