General Staff confirmed the strike on the Russian airfield "Khanska"


The Defence Forces of Ukraine attacked a military airfield in Adygeya, Russian Federation. An ammunition depot was hit, and a fire and evacuation of the nearby village were reported. Su-34 and Su-27 aircraft were based at the airfield.

On the night of October 10, the Defence Forces of Ukraine struck the "Khanska" airfield in the Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation. This was officially announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Tonight, fire damage was inflicted on the ’Khanskaya’ airfield in the Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation. Specifically, an ammunition depot located on the military site’s territory was hit. Enemy air defense activity was noted in the target area, and a fire was recorded," the General Staff’s statement reads.

It is known that Su-34 and Su-27 aircraft were based at the airfield. More detailed information about the impact’s consequences is being clarified.

The agency stated that the mission was accomplished by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
