The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, explained these measures as necessary to replace military personnel at the front and to demonstrate to the enemy a capable army.
In the Chernihiv region, mobilization will be intensified. The head of the regional military administration, Viacheslav Chaus, stated that he is not satisfied with the current results of mobilization in the region.
He stated this during a briefing on Thursday, October 24, reports Suspilne Chernihiv.
"As of today, I am not satisfied with the level of mobilization, and we are taking measures to increase it," the head of the RMA noted.
According to him, these intensified measures will continue until Ukraine’s complete victory.
Chaus emphasized that the current mobilization efforts are aimed at providing rest for those units that have been participating in intense combat for a long time, and also to ensure that the enemy understands that Ukraine has a capable army ready to defend effectively.
"We must do everything to, firstly, give an opportunity to rest to those of our units that have been fighting in an active phase for a long time. Secondly, so that the enemy sees that we have an army that is ready and will fight back," he explained.
