Russian troops are currently trying to advance in the outskirts of Chasiv Yar in the Kramatorsk direction, but they have not achieved a significant breakthrough. Therefore, it is impossible to speak of a strategic success for the occupiers.
This was reported by the commander of the security company of the 5th Separate Assault Brigade, Yevhen Martynets. He described the operational situation in this sector of the front live on "Kyiv24".
According to him, Russian military forces have entered the outskirts of Chasiv Yar, but they are not advancing deeper with equipment: one or two occupiers enter and settle in somewhere.
"Unfortunately, there is some advancement by the Russians. But it is indeed insignificant. That is, fortunately, they do not have a strategic success. I hope it stays that way while we hold back the enemy in this direction," the military officer noted.
He added that the Defence Forces are currently holding back the enemy in this direction. They are better oriented in the area than the occupiers, which gives them an advantage.
At the same time, how deeply the occupiers have advanced in the area of this city in the Bakhmut district remains a secret.
