Several settlements are flooded.
The Russian occupation army blew up the Kurakhove dam in Donetsk region. Many villages in the direction of the village of Bohatyr have been flooded.
A fighter from "Aidar," Stanislav Bunyatov, writes that this is the work of the Russians, who complicated logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Several villages in the direction of Bohatyr are flooded.
"The roads remain usable, but with certain difficulties, the movement of armored vehicles on dirt roads around these settlements is, of course, limited," notes Bunyatov.
The head of the city administration reports that inspecting the dam is currently impossible due to shelling, but a rise in water levels has been recorded in villages near the Vovcha River.
Russian social media channels accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine of blowing up the dam, claiming it was done to restrain the advance of Russian troops.
