He noted that the Russian airborne force, which broke through to the left bank part of Kupyansk on November 13, was unable to hold.
When asked whether the Russians, who scattered into houses, were eliminated, Besedin said: "Destroyed."
The head of the Kupyansk Military Administration added that as of the morning of November 14, the situation in the city is under control.
