In the Luhansk region, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Defence Forces destroyed a Russian "Strila" air defence system. The complex was set on fire in the area of Novoaydar, which is located 60 km from the front line.
The crew of the "Strela" was also eliminated, reports UAINFO.org with reference to a message from a Z-Telegram channel.
A video appeared in the public domain showing the destroyed "Streia-10" air defense system burning down.
"On November 22, 2024, the operation of a Ukrainian Armed Forces sabotage and reconnaissance group was noted in the area of Novoaydar, Luhansk region (over 60 km from the combat line). The crew’s residence and the complex itself were set on fire," reports "The Spy’s Dossier".
Three crew members, servicemen of the 169th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces – Junior Lieutenant Oleksiy Matrenynskyi and two junior sergeants, Maksym Horbachov and Mykhailo Chebotaryov – perished.
