The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has extended the detention of the head of the Khmelnytsky Medical and Social Expert Commission, Tetyana Krupa, who is suspected of illegal enrichment. The new term of detention is set until January 26, 2025. In addition, her bail has been reduced.
This was reported by journalist Oleh Novikov. He noted:
Bail has been reduced by 20 million UAH – from 300 to 280 million UAH. She will remain in the pre-trial detention center."The defence pointed out that the amount is large. It was also noted that Krupa’s son voluntarily deposited 3 million UAH bail from his own funds into the HACC account," the message states.
In addition, Novikov reported that the HACC has extended the investigation period for Krupa’s case. The new deadline for completing the investigation is set for April 5, 2025. The journalist noted that currently:
examinations are ongoing; requests for international legal assistance are being prepared – as "significant amounts of money have been found abroad related to Krupa".
